Spatial Statistics- Correlation between Cigarettes and Marijuana use

From looking at the correlation between percentage cigarette and marijuana usage by state from 2006-2007, I found that there was no correlation between the two variables. This is indicated by the r-square value of 0.0219, extremely close to 0, suggesting no association between marijuana use and cigarette use in the United States.
